Which size should I choose: 8, 10 or 12 cm?
8 cm is super minimal, 10 cm is the perfect balance and 12 cm gives more coverage. If you're unsure, 10 cm is the middle ground. There is no official size chart by age: hold a ruler against your shin and choose how much you want to cover.
How do I personalise them?
In the editor choose Photo, and upload one photo for the left pad and one for the right, or Name and number. You see a preview of both shin pads and confirm before adding them to your cart. Photos can be JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 15 MB.
Are they allowed in matches?
Under Law 4 of the IFAB Laws of the Game (2026/27 edition), shin guards must be made of a suitable material and of an appropriate size, give reasonable protection and be covered by the socks; the player is responsible for their size. There is no minimum size in centimetres. Leagues and age groups can have their own rules, so check with the referee or your club before the match.
Can I return personalised shin pads?
No: personalised products cannot be returned, except for defects. That's why the editor asks you to check both previews before ordering.
Are they a good gift for a footballer?
