Details
- Sizes: 9x6 cm or 15x9 cm.
- Material: soft EVA foam.

- Mini format: small shin pads made to sit under your sock.
- Goes with: TrincheBalk grip socks, sock sleeves and adhesive shin pad strips.
How to use
- Choose the size: 9x6 cm is the smaller one, 15x9 cm the larger one.
- Put on your grip sock and place the mini shin pad on the front of your shin.
- Pull the sock sleeve up over the sock and the shin pad: it holds it in place.
- Alternatively, or for extra hold, fix it with the adhesive shin pad strips.
Who it's for
For anyone who plays football or five-a-side, or trains, and prefers a soft EVA foam mini shin pad to one with a PP shell.

If you prefer a shell model, there are the PP mini shin pads with an EVA foam lining in 8, 10 and 12 cm.

Which size should I choose?
8 cm is super minimal, 10 cm is the perfect balance and 12 cm gives more coverage. If you're unsure, 10 cm is the middle ground. There is no official size chart by age: hold a ruler against your shin and choose how much you want to cover.
Are mini shin pads legal?
Law 4 of the IFAB Laws of the Game (2026/27 edition) asks for shin guards made of a suitable material and of an appropriate size to give reasonable protection, covered by the socks, and says players are responsible for their size. It sets no minimum size in centimetres. Leagues and age groups can have their own rules: check with the referee or your club before the match.
Can I add my name or a photo?
Not on this model. For a photo or name and number, choose the Personalised mini shin pads, personalised in Tuscany.
How do you keep them in place?
Your sock holds them on the shin. For extra stability, use TrincheBalk adhesive shin pad strips.
